What does this mean to the FMCP member?  Members should continue to use their current card until the end of December 2017 and then discard it.  Effective January 1, 2018, members should use the new card provided for their medical/Rx needs.  The FMCP will be providing members with two copies of the new cards.  Should they wish to receive additional cards, or have any questions about this change, members should contact the FMCP’s customer service number at 1-877-937-9602. Members should remember to discard any old cards and use only the new cards effective January 1, 2018.

In our continuing effort to provide “best in-class services” to all of our participants in the FMCP, the Board of Trustees has decided to retain a new medical care management firm.  Services, such as medical pre-authorizations, were provided by American Health Holdings (AHH).  Effective January 1, 2018, all of the FMCP’s medical care management will be provided by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). 

Additionally, the FMCP will be rolling out a new member self-service online portal that will go live on January 1, 2018. To use the online portal, members will need to verify their identity with their new member ID number (from the new 2018 medical/Rx card) and create new login credentials. Our new member self-service online portal will give members access to view their plan information and the information for their dependents.
